This week, Capcom revealed more details for the upcoming Resident Evil Revelations 1: Unveiled Edition and its sequel, on the Nintendo Switch. Alongside HD Rumble and local co-op, a much beloved control method for the series makes a welcome return.
Many may fondly remember playing Resident Evil 4 on the Wii (and less so, Resident Evil 5 on PlayStation Move), where you could aim with pixel-perfect accuracy, much like with a mouse. Unlike many games that had tacked-on motion controls, the input method perfect suited the series, which was historically famous for its cumbersome "tank" controls.
I played the first Resident Evil Revelations for our 2015 Four in February challenge and loved it! I've been looking for an excuse to play the sequel, so I'll probably hang on a little longer for the November 28th release date on Switch.
