Be Nazi, get punched.

Wolfenstein's marketing team isn't messing around.

Since Wolfenstein: The New Order came out in 2014, the world appears to have got decidedly shittier, with more people seemingly alright with being associated with Nazis. Like measles, a thing we once thought was gone for good appears to be coming back thanks to not very smart people.

So what happens with Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus? One would expect the usual corporate non-statement or "this is a work of fiction etc. etc." but in this case, Bethesda's marketing team are dropping the hammer and doubling down on their anti-Nazi stance. Which is refreshing, to say the least.

I do worry about the game getting review-bombed when it comes out, but I applaud Bethesda for this no-bullshit take on marketing a game. Stay tuned for our verdict after we get our hands on the game - but while you're waiting, you could just watch this tweet on repeat :D
